I had to stop at Chapter 8. Did *no one* tell the female narrator that it’s not E-gan, it’s OWEN. I just could not. I’ve listened to all of the Astoria Royals and this is the first one I couldn’t make it through.

Reckless Obsession is the dark romance between Eughan, a defense attorney and second to his brother who is the leader of their Irish O'Rouke Mafia, and Jillian, a prosecutor assigned to his brother's case by her step brother (Daniel) who is the Las Vegas District Attorney Director. They meet in the courtroom where the case against Eughan's brother is dismissed, but this only occurs because of a secret deal between Daniel and Eughan who will provide evidence against Lazaro of the Cosa Nostra. After the case is dismissed, Eughan and Jillian meet by accident at a bar where they end up in a one night relationship. However, he becomes obsessed with her and goes to great extremes to keep in touch with her including stalking. Both characters have very strong and independent behaviors and a sizzling attraction to one another. The plot has drama, suspense, danger, kidnapping, and sizzling passion. This audio book has triggers, vulgar language, and is definitely for adult listening.
