Anne Rule was a fantastic true crime writer. i guess she gave up writing novels after Possession, & that's ok. i was curious to read this novel so i did. To Anne Rule fans out there , it's OK to skip this one.

I enjoyed the audio version of Possession by Ann Rule. I thought the writing was really good, authentic in the characterizations and descriptions, and the story flowed nicely. I was captivated from the first chapter through the very end. I would highly recommend this audiobook. Definitely worth your credit!

Suspenseful and entertaining

The book was great until the end which was very disappointing. All thru the book the storyline flowed but the last two chapters (or so) just turned boring! The book could/should have had an exciting ending but instead it was like watching a good movie and then the end just leaves you hanging out to dry. Ann Rule is normally one of my favorite authors but this book was disappointing.

I enjoyed the readers voice very much. To me, the plot was original. Descriptions of characters allowed easy recollection of who was who in dialog. Flow of character interaction and story-line was just right. The ending was not surprising but appropriate for this telling.
