I found this series by following a narrator that I enjoy listening to And have enjoyed the evolution of these characters over the first three novels. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series… Definitely binge worthy – this is not fluffy and so far, it’s also not been Spicy.

I’m glad that there are more books in the series and I plan to space them out in between other reading although it is tempting to binge read .

This audiobook reminded me that there is always more to a story. This is especially true when it comes to family dramas. Spenser-Fleming weaves a wonderful tapestry of love, morality, history, sorrow, mystery, murder and needless death in Out of the Deep.

Suzanne, your rendition of Clare has the perfect nuance of a Carolinian absorbing the upper-state NY speak. One thing which may have already been brought to your attention is that we Episcopalians say “AH-men,” not “AY-men.” I look forward to reading your next book!

I don’t know why this author isn’t more well-known. She is a very good writer and the characters are relatable. They are imperfect and flawed, but likable and I always root for them. Definitely recommend!

Another excellent book based in small town Adirondacks. Anyone familiar with North Country looking for an easy escape, this book is a real page turner. Loved it.
