Orchard Valley, Oregon. It's where the Bloomfield sisters, Valerie, Stephanie, and Norah, grew up, and it'll always be home to them.

When their father, David, suffers a heart attack, they gather at his side, the first time in years they've all been together. Coming home, they rediscover the bonds of family, of sisterhood. And, without expecting it, they also find love.

The narrator was just okay in the beginning. She improved as the story went on after about 1/3 of the way through, it was easier to listen to. The story itself was a Debbie Macomber, great characters, easy to follow and entertaining.

Great Story

I really loved that David was given so many reasons to continue to enjoy life!

This was a very enjoyable trilogy!

When she reads the part of the eldest daughter she yells and the strain in her voice makes me feel anxious. And I understand that she is performing a part that is stressful...but it is way over exaggerated and makes me feel stressed. Personally I didn’t like it, will not finish this book.

The reader makes me feel -anxious
