No human would suspect gentle, eccentric Professor Ruben Welch of being the leader of a clandestine group of Christian believers who are fighting a hidden evil. But the enemy has harnessed artificial intelligence to see beyond human perspective. Sent by rival enemy factions, the assassin has deadly skills, and the troubleshooter has a deadly plan. Both aim to annihilate Welch’s entire team. The troubleshooter has deployed a betrayer and a new type of virus, genetically keyed for one purpose. The lethal germ is meant to be carried back to the heart of Welch’s group and kill them all.
