I love Penelope’s books. Always entertaining and keeps a great flow. Would highly recommend. Erin Mallon did a great job as usual with narrating both female/male voices.

More references than most on religious faith. Otherwise, a great, easy, sweet read. The narrator is a little whinny and weak sounding to me. This character wasn’t that weak so the voice didn’t match exactly.

I wish this story told us what Elec said to Chelsey when he arrived back to CA. I loved this story and how Chelsey found her HEA. I adored the double d’s. These are wonderful, fun stories.

I loved this book! The storyline was great. There were times in the book that made me laugh. I enjoyed this book so much because it really made you feel like you were one of the characters trying to get to know someone you were interested in.we’ve all been there in life falling for someone and questioning why. The amount of excitement and heartache that goes along with it. It had some great erotic scenes, but this book was mostly the story of two people getting to know each other.

I really liked Chelsea in Stepbrother Dearest, so I loved seeing her get the hea she deserves.

Damien was everything. I absolutely loved him and his needy dogs. I loved how he felt about Chelsea and how he always tried to do what was best for her, even if it meant him getting hurt in the process.

I absolutely loved the connection between them, how they helped each other heal and overcome their fears. Erin Mallon did a great job bringing all the characters and their emotions to life in this solo narration.
