Did the Author even consult anyone with Autism while writing this? My largest issue is with the part that said there isn't a cure yet and that it was a dysfunction of the brain. just because people with autism are not neurotypical. does not mean they need to be cured. their brain functions differently. differently does not mean wrong.

I can’t believe this book is rated at all. It is so bad and borders on dangerous. It’s based on deficits and seeing someone with autism as less than, strange, or incomprehensible, It focuses on differences from a neurotypical perspective. It’s very sad and I would never teach my child any of this.
