I’ve read, reread, and re-listened to this series so many times. It’s my go-to series regardless of how I’m feeling. Adrian’s story was even funnier than Ren’s. I do wish the female narrator would have put a little more feelings into her narration.

I'm not sure I want to admit this, but I think I like Adrian more than Rutledge (I really liked Rutledge). Adrian's one liners about Tatum and her fashion choices had me laughing throughout the book. I loved Tatum's brain; she was so smart and the mental math gymnastics she did for situations was fun to read.

This was a fake dating situation, and my only complaint was there wasn't enough other woman/man drama for me. They were together because of Daniella and Rico but too few scenes with either nemesis. Both had personal issues to overcome, and each provided the other a soft place to land.

I tortured myself and gave the audiobook a try after being thoroughly disappointed with the male narration in book 1. No positive changes in narration for book 2. I didn't take off any stars for performance because I knew what I was getting into and had hoped since it was a different character the narration might change for the better. WRONG
