Six down-on-their-luck people with links to the world of crime writing have been invited to play a game this Christmas by the mysterious Midwinter Trust. A fun and atmospheric mystery. The narration of Daisy’s ‘American’ accent wasn’t great, but other than that, this was a terrific mystery!

This might be fine as a hard copy book, but the “mystery within a mystery” and “find the clues” stuff just doesn’t work in the audio format. No, I can’t look at image 9 on the website, I’m going 70 on the highway on my way to work.

I wish there had been a disclaimer prior to purchasing this audio book that a number of pictures and diagrams were included in the printed version. It was disappointing to listen to the "see figure x" prompts and not be able to get the full mystery solving experience Narrators were outstanding, story was enjoyable. I would recommend getting the print version of this book.

So much fun! Absolutely perfect entertainment. The story setup, the clues, the characters, all the details. Such a rich experience. The audiobook is so well done and I loved the PDF that came with it.
