Jane Lawless is a woman at a crossroads - her lover has left, she has finally recovered from a vicious attack sustained last year, and the holidays are closing in. This is so far my least favorite of the series. For me the book was too long, too wordy and had too many characters. The only thing I enjoyed about the book was that I wasn't able to guess the murderer.
