This was good story but the h was not naive but dumb. She risks her life to a guy whom she knew was toxic. At times, I wanted to yell at her! People make mistakes but she continues making the same mistakes with the same guy. The H knew about her boyfriend but didn’t tell her the important part. All in all, it was ok but not memorable.

I really enjoyed this book and narration. My only complaint is the inconsistency of the recording from chapter to chapter, so had to constantly adjust the speaker.

Best modern retelling of Sense and Sensibility

It all seemed like very “high stakes” drama for a story that’s basically about a teenager 🤷🏻‍♀️ understand the remake, but I think there are ways to translate less literally. The drama didn’t seem to match the circumstance, and I found myself rolling my eyes throughout. It all just seemed very far fetched, not believable and completely overly dramatic.
