Get ready to fall hard for the mysterious Seeley “Doc” Whiskey and the one woman he never thought would walk back into his life, in this sexy and emotional second-chance standalone romance. The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch is a small-town, big-family series of standalone romance novels featuring fiercely loyal, insanely sexy bikers who give horses—and people—a second chance. No cliffhangers, no cheating, and a happily ever after that will leave you breathless. First loves that were ripped apart, and the epic love that saves them.

At nineteen, Seeley “Doc” Whiskey fell hard for the governor’s daughter, and then she was torn away. He risked his life and his family’s legacy to get her back, only to find out that everything he believed about her was a lie. His heart has been locked down ever since. Betrayed by everyone she loves, Juliette Chambers has been through hell and back. Now a single mother and veterinarian, Juliette moves back to Colorado to start over. The last person she expects to run into is the man who completely destroyed her. A chance encounter turns into a moment of fury, sending them into an emotional maelstrom. Tears and accusations fly and passion ignites, but in their wake they discover a trail of secrets and lies and a life-changing blow that takes them to their knees.

Although the narrative contains numerous intense scenes, the primary emphasis of the novel lies in the enduring bond between Doc and Juliette. The storyline presents a nuanced exploration of their relationship, highlighting the complexities and depths of their love, which serves as a poignant focal point throughout the text.

This is a beautiful story that is filled with hope and love.

I laughed, I cried, and I couldn’t stop listening. The relationships in this story between a man and woman, Mom and son, and long last Dad and son were riveting. This is definitely the perfect 8 second ride.

A roller coaster of emotions!

Doc and Juliette met at Redemption Ranch and fell helplessly in love as teenagers. They both knew they wouldn’t give their heart away to anyone else. When it ended, it was devastating.
And now that she’s come back to live not far from the ranch, it seems fate has given them a chance.

This is not your usual fluffy second-chance story, though. Among other things, there’s a lot of resentment, unsaid things, and people who meddled in what they had.
But what comes out on top of all of that is love, especially when you listen to it, and I found myself having to fight back tears.

Aiden Snow is 100% perfect as Doc—I honestly cannot picture anyone else’s voice for him, especially when the gruffness turns into care, compassion, and understanding. You can hear the love, the longing, the will to go back and do it all again, even though Doc knows he can’t. You can literally hear the “it’s always been you”, and I loved every minute.

Erin is her usual amazing self as Juliette, the strong, big-hearted woman who’s been through so much and had to fight tooth and nail for what she has. The self-assured woman who’s used to going it alone.
She doesn’t need to anymore. Not when Doc and the Whiskey family are involved. When they take you in, they never let go.

Their connection is palpable and realistic. The way they deal with whatever comes their way—the reassurance and support in Aiden’s voice, the vulnerability and resilience in Erin’s, and the love in both—pull you in.

And if you love a narrator’s ability to handle different voices in a book, this was spot on. If you know Melissa, her books always have big families, and it’s something else to be able to tell which character is talking every time.

There’s a sort of magic to Redemption Ranch (anyone else want to live there?) and there was something special about this audiobook too. I definitely recommend it!

Darlin', you're the exception to my every rule.
