They were once the most powerful mages in the land, but they were betrayed. Their crafted weapons and armor were stolen and they were exiled.

Now, with war on the horizon, the king needs them again. But they won't be wielding magic for the king. Not this time.

The Lost Mages are coming home, and this time, they're out for vengeance.

While the basic story feels a bit like a Dungeons and Dragons adventure, it's definitely on the darker side. I would have called the book Dark Priests or Lost Priests or something as I feel like that'd match better, but what you ultimately have is magic users that were forced to retire that come back together for revenge and to fight evil. Often it seems like maybe they are fighting evil with evil. The world building is good, the narration is enjoyable, and there are several unexpected turns in the story.

This book should be more popular!

The Narrator is good. Especially the different character voices and the complex dialog. The grumpy Bone Claw is a fav.

The Authors storytelling is good too. The start and build up of the story arc is sorta classic. Working for Demons in hell is usally a villians path. but this time its the hero.

It gets alittle tedious at times. but over all well worth a listen.
