These are excellent short stories, narrated by the author himself in a beautiful way.
I have read several books by Barry Lopez and each of them a total delight, highly recommend.

I've read all Barry Lopez's major nonfiction works, and most of his shorter ones, but only a few of his fiction collections. These stories are all small masterpieces, but the real treat was his performance. He was a better audiobook reader than the best voice actors. Highly recommended.
