No matter what language the books of Cassandra Clare are amazing. As I’ve stated in several ocasions, I’m addicted to shadowhunters stories, and I never get enough of listen.
La citié de tenèbres is the first book of this series, and is fantastic. Very well written, has action, love, mystery... all the elemebts if a good story to capture the listener from begin to end.
In this first book, the author presentes Clare to a world she couldn’t see because her mother hude. But why her mother did this? Many secrets and lies are revealed, but many others are hidden, while others are begin created to hide the truth.
Now. for those like me who wish to practice the French language, I recommend this book. The cacabulary is easy to understand. The speed of the narrative allows you to follow the story.
