I always love listening to romantic stories. I grab this book and it is amazing! A novel about love, death, betrayal, and above all, friendship. The characters are well written and defined. There are a few unexpected twists and a really good plot.

A truly terrific listen! A leap of faith after the tragic loss of a best friend finds Corbett Scott, Cory, chasing after a dream he once thought unobtainable. L.A. Dreams takes a crash course through the massive music craze of grunge as it swept through the 90s. A story of how believing in oneself can take you far but having the guts to face the obstacles of newfound fame and luxury can change even the purest of souls.

From the beginning chapter of this book, I was hooked on the author’s richly crafted characters. The settings and times are straight out of the era and through the friendships, struggles, infidelities, betrayals, and wins. Take a weekend and some adult beverages and go back to LA circa 1993 with A.M. Morrell’s L.A. Dreams. You won’t be sorry!
