The story line was compelling. The romance was not over the top. Overall it was good.

The books in this series easily stand on their own and do not have to be read in order. It's a fun story of a young woman believing herself to be a spinster, she finds herself a houseguest while her residence is being repaired. My only complaint is that it ends very quickly and I would have loved to see a bit more to the conclusion (at least another chapter or two). The narrator does a wonderful job with the different voices and is really enjoyable to listen to. It's a clean Regency romance free of bedroom scenes, language or any graphic violence.

This was a good book and I enjoyed listening to it plus I liked the characters and the story. The narrator did a really good job but I did think she sounded a little older than the characters but it didn't bother me. This is a clean romance for anyone who cares.
