I was given a free copy of this novel at my own request and have posted this review of my own free will. A Noir Detective novel with a Furry Twist in post war New York City . Kaiser the PI is a tiger, his secretary is a lynx who at times is just as tough as her boss. Then we have Duke a German Shepard police detective one Kaiser's friends who skirts the rules at times but not the law . It's a very fun romp where the action rarely stops. The narrator helps the stories come alive with 'radio commercials' that add to the flavor. It drags you in and refuses to let you go to the end
Downside Darker themes moments make it not suitable for younger listeners

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this review. Kaiser is a war veteran turned PI, he's also a tiger. He's good at his job, but he's also soft spot for the ladies and that can cause him some trouble. Fourteen hours of very interesting and suspenseful listen with the flavour of Sam Spade. Well written characters with a fast paced plot that will keep you listening longer then you intended.
