Narrator is trying too hard to be droll. Aware of his acting instead of the story. Sing song instead of strong. Otherwise, a pleasant series though not suspenseful nor gripping.

I listened to books 3, 4 and 5 one right after the other. The narrator was very good. Each story held my attention. The characters were well drawn. Overall, very entertaining.
