Audible proudly presents a spicy sports romance narrated by Sophie Nelisse (Heated Rivalry) and Archie Madekwe (Salt Burn).

When Emily Parker, a fiercely driven American coxswain, lands a rowing scholarship to Oxford University, she’s determined to make the legendary team.

Far from home and desperate to prove herself, she comes up against a wall of privilege and prejudice. But Emily refuses to let anyone rock her boat - least of all the entitled and arrogant Oxford rowing captain, Hugh Willock.

Forced into the same team, their strokes start way out of sync, until competition and chemistry pull them into a dangerously smooth rhythm. What begins as a clash of wills soon builds into something that feels even more thrilling than winning…

But Cambridge’s golden boy and rowing captain, Xander Cadish, also has his sights set on Emily and the current between them crackles with something dangerous.

With the annual Oxbridge boat race looming on the horizon, Emily finds herself torn between two rivals - and two impossible choices. Can she find a way to pull together before her heart, and her team, capsize for good?

Perfect for fans of Icebreaker and Challengers, Bianca Willis delivers a steamy, high-stakes love triangle set against one of the most iconic rivalries in sport.

I found this story to be very engaging and it really kept my attention. I know nothing about rowing so I learned a lot!

A MMC with a British accent, um yes please lol. I’m usually not a sports romance type of girl but I really liked this one. I even found myself on pins and needles during meets it was crazy entertaining and engaging.

So cute!!

Initially I thought, it doesn’t require a credit or any additional money, it probably won’t be very good. I certainly was wrong. The narration was spot on. The dialogue paired with the perfect voices made visualization easy. I could definitely see this book becoming a movie-one that I would pay money to see

Enjoyable from beginning to epilogue

Unlike others, I found the female narrator's voice pleasant and easy to follow. I agree there was a tiny bit lack of emotion, but only when it was the protagonist's thoughts or lines. I figured it was just the way she perceived Emily's personality. On the other hand, I found it very cringey when the male narrator read Emily's lines- Although I won't hold it against him, because it's not his fault he can't immitate a hyper feminine voice.

As for the story line, I would've liked to see more about Xander. Maybe it's because Hugh was insecure and just assumed Xander would provoke him. From the things that were said it seemed like it was just a one-sided beef that Hugh had with Xander, so it would've been nice to have some more insight about it Hugh's speculations were only in his head or if Xander really was as conniving as Hugh makes him out to be.

Overall those are just my light-hearted opinions.I really wouldn't change anything about this story. I enjoyed it a lot and would like to read more from the author.
