this book was very very good it was long and parts it was too long but I do understand the need of the length and the things that happened in the story but I am imagining this book as a very very good movie I liked it a lot the narrator was fantastic and everything about the book was very good

This was one of those "What If" stories. the Amerika Bomber is built. in reality it never got off the drawing board. lots of other neat stuff like the WACs get a combat mission. Since I know a bit about WWII history it was a nice read for me, a page turner. Howard Huges. in combat, you gotta love itn.

You'll either love it or hate it on all four counts
Writing style, story content, narration and an open end.
Me I loved it and at over 14 hours long I thought it was finished too soon I want more in this line.
I hope the slightly open end means there'll be a followup.

most of the book includes step by step instructions on flying a plane. The author's boring narrative anytime a character handles any equipments will bore you when a switch is thrown or a gauge is observed.
