The inverted dynamics of power have brought with them a horde of obstacles including the disheartening persecution of magicians, flamboyant insurrection against the human-dominant state, and the formation of a societal underbelly teeming with unbridled resentment for the loss of entitled status. Ibrahim now finds his self a second-class citizen, barred like many others from practicing what makes them unique. But for how long?
