Let me preface this by stating that I LOVE Shelly Laurenston. I've listened to the entire Pride series as well as Call of the Crows on Audible, and this is the FIRST of her books where the narrator completely ruined the entire book for me. Her inability to differentiate between characters and the fact that her male characters, especially the hero sounds like a nasely and weak, dork. Ugh!! It took me forever to get through this book, when normally I binge listen her books. And lets not even get started how the guy on the cover doesn't even match the description of what Will is supposed to look like *face palm*

Narrator aside, this was a decent continuation of Laurenston's Crow series. You have the wit and action of her feisty, kick @ss Crows and the signature humor that I love about Laurenston.

I love the “crows” books. This was a good one. The narrator’s female parts were decent but Oh My God the males were absolutely horrible!! Higher in pitch than the women and, well, squeaky and enough to want to stop listening because it was ruining the story. I’ll finish reading the book and be glad that I only paid four dollars for the audible.

Shelly laurenston is one of my go to authors for fun sexy reads. This one was just ok in my opinion. It is set in the same universe as a couple others about the crows and ravens from Norse mythology set in modern day. The others were more interesting and definitely more funny and kept my attention well. This one not so much. Honestly there were times I fell asleep and nothing much had happened and I didn't even bother to
