I enjoyed Book 4 of the Sevenwaters, though not quite as much as the first 3. I do think Rosalyn Landor has done the best narration in both the books she has done in the series so far when compared to the other's performance. This book's story isn't quite as strong as the others in the series, but I still enjoyed it. I did notice several production editing issues with the narration that were a bit jolting but fortunately didn't do anything to inhibit the flow for long. (Chapter 3 was especially messy.) I do intend on continuing with the next book as well as the last. I still recommend listening as it will continue some aspects of the previous story lines.

Great narration but story isn't as impressive

the narrator recording has multiple errors where she messed up a line and restarted it, but the edits weren't completed to remove them. so far, there is one in chapter two and one in chapter three.

I love this series, I read it when I was much younger and it was still just a trilogy and I have been listening to it again for the first time in probably almost a decade and a half. I have had my issues with the first three books all being narrated by someone different since there are pronunciation changes in every subsequent novel, but I was able to see past that because the writing is so good... however I downloaded the fourth book in the series and it isn't fully edited. I thought that there was an issue with my download and so I rewound several parts of the playback but it has nothing to do with the download... there are parts were the narrator messes up or stumbles over her words and backs up in her reading that they never chose to edit out before compiling everything. I honestly can't believe I'm expected to spend one credit or almost $30 on a book that a company couldn't bother going through and fully editing. Super unprofessional and disappointing. I am still very much enjoying the story. Mistakes and narration are distracting, but don't ruin the experience entirely.

The Narration isn't Fully Edited?!

This book was good, but wasn't quiet as good as the books prior to it. It felt like the beginning of the book drug on, and the second half was done in the last 2 hours. I would have like to have known more about her adventure back into the other world, but we got the abbreviated version.

I don't like that each narrator pronounces things differently. That's frustrating. I do love the series though and would recommend it to others.

Good, but not my favorite of the series.

Choosing a favorite book in a series is like trying to pick a favorite child, but since reading/listening to this installment in the Sevenwaters series, I've been called to re-read it over and over. Absolutely masterful storytelling that you'd expect from the incomparable Juliet Mariller, and the wonderful narration of Rosalyn Landor makes this a joy to hear. (I've noticed that of the narrators ascribed to this series, I prefer Rosalyn!) Can't praise this one highly enough!

Possibly my favorite in the series (thus far)
