This is the first Male-Male romance i have ever read but wow, it was so hot! I love this series and this was a sexy, steamy, dreamy little novela

Gay characters in romance novels are usually the side kicks or background noise. Every now and again they get a more significant role. But in a mainstream romance series? Never! Until this one. I adore these boys and it's very satisfying to read/listen to their story of getting the happily ever after. Plus, the steamy romance was awesome! A++++

The voices for the two lead men were often too similar to easily distinguish who was saying what . And the narrator often whispered their words, which got old.

I'll be honest, being a heterosexual female, I wasn't sure how this novella would make me feel. I've only listened/read one other m/m book, the Black Dagger brotherhood, and because of the long relationship of those two characters, it wasn't wierd at all. I have always been perfectly open with anyone's choice of sexual preference, what I was unsure about was being privy to m/m sexual interactions. Silly? Yeah, it was. I think it was because it was an experience that I couldn't personally relate to. I know now that the specifics of the act itself doesn't even matter, it's the emotional closeness that really tells the story. That point is made very clear, in this novella and anyone who loves a romance will enjoy this tale.
