I'm not all that special, really. I'm sure there are a lot of girls with old gypsy blood who see the dead, have killer cults hunting their family, and turn into something that gets scary when they panic. Yep. I'm just an ordinary girl. I wish people would believe that.

ok so at first with the male voices it was hard to tell them apart but I got use to it. After that I really loved listening and that fucking ghost had me snorting out loud at work. like she is a 2yr old with a dirty mind and just blurts shit out. I really loved the book and characters I was unsure at first but I'm glad I listened to this. I wish I had a ghost like Anna.

I love the first book so far. I dont care for the 2 or 3 different people who narrate the book. With the accents of the characters changing it's hard for me to keep up with who is who. All and all I am enjoying the book and can't wait to listen to book 2.

Wow, this book was just what I needed. This was recommend to me but, I had been holding off on reading it because the cover mislead me to thinking it wouldn’t be what I wanted. So so so wrong! This is a super interesting series and I immediately knew I was going to end up binging the entire series. I know people are not a fan of the narrator(s) but, I honestly thought they did a good job. There were a few times that I got confused on who was speaking during the male narration but, it wasn’t so bad I couldn’t pick back up quickly. Overall, I love this book and can’t wait to dive into the next!
