The author was perfect in capturing the feelings and emotions of the family going through a wife finding out her husband is gay. This couldn't be a more perfect portrayal of overcoming the devastation and finding the strength to move on to a better place.

I like VCMs books but expected more from this one. I don't know why because that was not fair to her. It was a good read and simple enough to listen to passively. she's a great writer but I need more action and spice. Very churchy which is not surprising since she writes church based books
