When the fire started, Danny Gallagher ran inside.

Twelve years with Boston Fire. Third generation. Running toward danger is what Gallaghers do.

Then a Gate ripped open in the warehouse. Monsters poured through. Danny grabbed an axe and didn't stop swinging until everything else was dead.

The System noticed.

Class Assigned: REAVER

A berserker that builds power the longer he fights. No ceiling. No limit. At ten minutes, Danny hits like the top Hunters in the state. At thirty minutes, nothing can hurt him faster than he heals.

Now he clears Gates for the MHA. Levels faster than anyone's seen. And Boston's most dangerous women have decided they're coming along, a Southie redhead with a mouth on her, a Russian who only respects strength, and a healer with an attitude problem who follows nobody but him.

The monsters aren't ready.

Neither is Boston.

Didn’t like where it ended, cause now I have to wait for the next book to come out , now that I’m hooked.

Good listen

I seldom listen to a virtual narrator that is easy to listen to because the story is that good. This story is that good. I couldn't stop listening to it. I hope this gets a real narrator some day, and I really, really hope the next book in the series comes out soon.

Excellent, Engaging Story

The story was entertaining but there were some big plot holes, like how they keep repeating that the gates starting showing up 5 years ago but apparently there been hunters for decades and werewolves aswel and it never gets explained. but overall was entertaining and a good time and im looking forward to the next one
