Still miss R.C Bray for this series, but I love Mark Boyet for the Lost Starship series.

I really liked the angle they took in the aftermath of so many plotlines closing in season 2, a really creative way to continue the story. This book seemed like a lot of setup but had all the awesome interconnected threads that I have loved about the series. It has both the really cool moments where threads come together into satisfying reveals, and spun up a ton of new arcs and mysteries to track as the story continues. I also appreciate some of the vast periods that get explained in synopsis in order to facilitate focus on the interesting characters that interact with the core questions of the plot. My one request is that book four come soon!
