Okay, it’s a long book and just okay, would not hear it a second time . Book k 1 .2 and the last two are good, not great but good strong men. The others put us Gay men in that week female story line, and it’s like a man and a woman thing.. it’s woke. Bad bad bad. We all fought to get out of that view. Now we want it again!! Hell no !!

1/2 the book is good !

I love series and really love when they are bundled because regardless if they can be read/listened to stand alone I always like to go in order and this series really they can be done on their own. Each installment is pretty sadly heartbreaking but also very sweet and Dubois does a pretty good job narrating the series there are some little flubs here and there but overall it was a long but enjoyable listen.

the stories are not bad, just a little quick and hard to follow the timeline and the characters are very basic; the effeminate small artistic man with the larger manly man with a masculine job 🤮 . however, the narration is horrendous - the narrator performs this like he's reading an essay in high school, everyone has the same voice, and the editing is god awful as there's multiple points where the same line is repeated over and over again with slight differences before the story continues. 10/10 would not recommend unless narration completely changed.

boring but good stories, horrible narration

Why did this Narrator stereo type the voices of characters in the book with a higher pitched sound once they came to grips with their sexuality? It was disappointing listening to it, especially since it’s so unrealistic. Having a child that recognizes themselves as bi and hearing this done was very disheartening for the slur.
