Cornell is broken after losing his best friend Jonas and getting hurt himself. He’s too old, too imperfect to ever attract a Dom again.

Until Rhys.

When Rhys gives him commands, Cornell yearns to obey.

When Rhys takes care of him, Cornell wants to kneel for him. When Rhys is everything he’s dreamed of, Cornell aches to call him Sir. And when Rhys makes him fly, Cornell soars higher than ever before.

But there’s one problem. Rhys is 20 years old and is a junior...and he’s Jonas’s son. How can you want to call your best friend’s son "Sir"...or "Daddy"?

Firm Hand is a standalone slow burn MM romance with daddy kink, an age gap, a very caring Daddy, and a boy who needs it, hurt/comfort, mild D/s play, and all the feels.

I loved the exchanges between these two characters. It took them awhile to discovered that they had always, genuinely cared for each other but through patience and strength of character they prevailed.
Narration was spot on.

Seduced by both characters

This story was so so good! Sweet and tender and caring. I love Reese and his sweet older boy. Great narration. I hope to hear Rafe and Brendon’s story too!

I read a different book by this author that got annoying pretty quickly. But I decided to give her another shot, and I'm so glad I did! There's a dynamic I did not see coming from the beginning, which was a pleasant surprise. I will absolutely read the next in the series.

I enjoyed the narration too, though the editing could use some work. Volume control when rerecording. Cutting off a word like "happy" to happ (and other words without the last pronounced letter). But I enjoyed the different voices of the characters, and the way he made a sound then read the word, like a cough or chuckle. Not many do that, and I for one appreciate it.

It's just a really good book

Cornell has been through a lot but Rhys is there to help him. As they get to know each other better they realize that their wants and needs meet up. But there are some roadblocks like age and their history together. But when there is love and caring and people communicate they can find ways to overcome the roadblocks to get to the relationship. I loved seeing them come to the relationship of what they want and how they fit. I love how Rhys is so strong and will stand up against anyone who doesn't understand.

I listened to the audio version and it was a very enjoyable experience.

I enjoyed listening/reading this very sweet, engaging and emotional story. Yet, have conflicted feelings about it.

Up to 70% or so , the story made sense to me, after that mark , the plotline progression took a fairy tale tone , I was not expecting .

Kenneth Obi as the narrator was brilliant .

Age is just a number
