I fell in love with the first half. Second half felt monotonous but I finished and learned a lot about ultra, human endurance not just physical but spiritually as well. Rich is someone I look up to and I’m a religious pod listener. He is an important person in our lifetime and he will forever leave an imprint on us.

I love how the Rich tells his story and uses it not toot his own horn but to show how his success in overcoming alcoholism and improving his health can be translated to anyone. He also has a very healthy relationship with exercise and nutrition, though from a surface perspective it could be perceived as another unhealthy addiction. However, after delving deep into the book, you learn that his approaches to self-improvement can be quite healthy, holistic, practical and effective for anyone.
