God has made no promise he will not keep. To help my brothers and sisters in Christ believe this, I have prepared this book. Seeing the promises is good for the eyes of faith. The more we study the words of grace the more grace we will obtain by reading them. To the cheering words of the Bible I have added my own testimonies, the fruit of trial and experience. I believe all the promises of God, but many of them I have personally tried and proven. I have seen that they are true, for they have been fulfilled to me. This, I hope, may be cheering to the young, and not without comfort to the older saints. One person’s experience may be of value to another. This is why the man of God wrote, “I sought the Lord, and he answered me;” and added, “This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him from all his troubles.”
