I got into the Amos Walker series by Loren Estleman a few years ago and have been slowly working my way through them. Estleman is a tremendous writer and Walker is great character in a very well drawn world. This novel deals with police corruption and elements of the Vietnam War and is a very interesting read. I listened to the audio version and wasn't completely enthused with the narrator, but overall he was good and didn't detract from the novel. Every Brilliant Eye is up there among my favorite's in the series thus far and I certainly recommend it.
