With the arrival of mysterious Aunt Maude on Christmas Day, young Samuel Flynn learns that his innocent removal of two objects from the fairy tale world has thrown it into turmoil which only he can resolve. Upon his return, he is captured by Rumpelstiltskin and he meets Rose, a fellow-captive. Working together, they escape and flee to the sanctuary of a quirky village overrun by white rabbits.
