I was really excited that Ruby and Cordelia were back in a new mystery. They have become one of my favorite mystery solving odd couples. This book did not disappoint. Ruby and Cordelia were in top form solving a complicated and sad murder. I really like how we slowly get to learn more about Cordelia’s life and what led to her death. I love a good mystery within a mystery. So many questions that have yet to be answered about Cordelia’s mysterious life and death. And now we have a family member in the picture! I don’t want to give too much away, but I definitely recommend giving this new series a try.

This was a great follow up to the first book in this series. The characters are memorable, the writing is fantastic, and the performance is simply outstanding. Anxiously awaiting the next book.

Loved this book, the characters, and the story. Olivia Blacke has done a masterful job with both of the first two books of the series and I am eagerly awaiting the next one. Her stories are entertaining and fun to listen to. Both of the narrators did an outstanding job making the characters come alive and I am anxious to listen to other books that either one of them narrates. Now, please hurry and get the third Ruby and Cordelia novel out!!
