Strange days....
Winter gripped the city. Terror gripped it, too. They found four corpses in four days, each more hideous than the last.

Strange nights....
At first the cops thought they were dealing with a psychopath. But soon they heard eerie sounds in the ventilation system - and saw unearthly silver eyes in the snow-slashed night.

Final hours....
In a city paralyzed by a blizzard, something watches, something stalks.

This book keeps you at the edge of your seat just like most of Dean Koontz books do!! The guy who reads the book has an amazing talent and gives each character their own voice!! And for the creepy people of the book it gives your listening experience an exciting ride !!

Awesome !!

What did you like best about Darkfall? What did you like least?

I seldom write reviews, but this was awful. I didn't return it, because the narrator tried valiantly to salvage this hodge-podge of superstition and nonsense. The characters were flat, the horror lame. Nothing to see here.

What about Christopher Lane’s performance did you like?

The narrator did an excellent job of reading a poorly written book

Boring and predictable

although the narrator was good the story seemed to me, to be slow.
The main character Jack is a widower and has 2 kids, he's a cop and has a female partner. Seems he is the chosen one to battle the demons from hell. While his partner braves the demons to protect Jack's kids.

The story itself, was interesting (to me) was closer to being dull.

please be aware, these are only my opinions , I'm much more into horror/thrillers. I've just got done reading/listening to very fast passed, edge of your seat e books so they may have put a damper on this, for me. :-D

I've read/listened to better

Grippingly great from beginning to end. Narrator Christopher Lane helped illustrate the entire story by giving EVERY character their own voice and personality from child to adult, male and female. He painted a perfect picture for every situation, every single detail with his narrations. great book great read and it will keep you interested. it was so good that when I had to pause the book I constantly seen the scene in my head on pause until I was able to get back to the book. Just a great get away story with AMAZING narrations.

Grippingly great from beginning to end.
