I found this book after watching The Ultimatum Queer Love on Netflix and it was just what I needed! Perfect and heartwarming, just enough romance to leave you wanting more. Excited to try another book by Chencia Higgins.

This is my first review that I have written about a book I listened to. I absolutely loved this story. I loved how it was written and how it was presented by the person reading the book. I would recommend listening to this cute story of how two people met and actually fell in love.

I absolutely love this book. The story was amazing and felt so authentic. It’s so satisfying to read a book about love (especially lesbian love) without the unnecessary drama/trauma and over sexualization. The sexual tension was palpable without it needing to be raunchy. I rarely reread books but this one will definitely be read again. It’s that good. I wish there were a continuation of their story. I love their love.

So many layers, so many relatable moments, beautifully written and completely believable. Though in some moments, predictable.... there were quite a few things that caught me by surprise. Great narration which made the listen easy and enticing.
