KL Bone takes FF steamy reads to another level. In this short yet very steamy read we see the story of Suzette and Yelena. Two vampires one born and one turned yet perfect for each other. If you love FF reads this is definitely a book for you.

Yelena is a doctor who couldn't yet find a cure for her leukemia and was going to die. She was a brilliant doctor and no one including herself wanted her to die, but to keep up her work. So Anthony was brought to her and with her permission she was changed to a vampire. Since her hippocratic oath was to cause no harm, she refused to feed off of humans and only drank donated blood.

Suzette and Yelena were attracted to each other, but then found out they were fated mates as their hearts started beating after they had sex.

Suzette is a highborn, as she is a natural born vampire, whereas Yelena is a lowborne as she was a turned vampire. Their union wasn't allowed by highborne standards.

An enjoyable short sapphic vampire story, but it did not have a complete ending. It needs an epilogue or a sequel.

There is just a minimal amount of mature content. 🌶️🌶️🔥

Most of this authors writing is M/F romance, but I'm glad she has a couple of F/F ones, as I don't listen to the Hetero ones.

While FF romance is not my usual trope I found myself very much enjoying this quick steamy read. It was very well done and I recommend it. The audio narration was amazing.

I absolutely loved this book. It was a refreshing new look at vampires and romance. I don't want to give anything away but this is a happily ever after story...so far. I have only one complaint, where is the rest of the story? It can't be over yet, it has to go on, don't leave a sister hangi8n'.
