Is there anything better than sitting around the campfire, toasting s'mores, and listening to stories?

This collection of 18 campfire stories include funny stories about farts and summer camp. There are spooky tales of graveyards, blood-red rivers, and stories about Bigfoot. There are true stories about being lost in Yellowstone National Park and an inspiring Native American legend of Tsali. There are scary tales to make your hair stand on end.

The audiobook also includes some urban legends which have been passed down from generation to generation. There are some tales that might make you jump out of your skin. And there are a couple of stories with corny jokes that’ll probably make you groan.

Whether you’re looking for stories to tell around the campfire or love listening to stories with a twist in the tale or a surprise ending, you're in the right place.

I downloaded this collection to listen to while we camped out. As the first story started, a child thought it was too scary and asked me to stop it. I did, but when I finished it later, it wasn't scary at all and even really funny! Great stories that my kids were sorry ended. Hoping to find more!

Not Scary

This is the first book I’ve read/listened to by this author and I would listen to another. The stories definitely need to be reviewed by the parent before letting young kids listen to them. Not all are appropriate for all ages. Not all are stories you’d tell “around the campfire”. I’m unsure why this mix of stories was chosen. I did not listen to all the stories. I found I was loosing interest.

This is the first book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Noah DeBiase ) and I would listen to another. I think he did well narrating these stories. He used natural voices for the characters, including the kids.

There are no explicit sex scenes, excessive violence or swearing.
