I would have given this review 5 stars if it weren't for the annoying conversations after each chapter. I don't know whose idea it was to put in the commentary, but I find it extremely annoying, and impossible to avoid when listening in the car. The stories are all great and enjoyable. And Aaron Mahnke is an excellent narrator and story teller. I only wish he had thought better of adding the " conversations " that detract from the almost perfect audible experience.

Love this! Liks 5 minute mysteries or mysteries at the museum. Short historical stories. Near perfect narration. Very enjoyable.

If you are a fan of Lore, you'll love Cabinet of Curiosities. It's interesting...Aaron Mahnke's voice is grating, which takes away from the enjoyment of this varied collection of curiosities.

If you like mystery, history, coincidence, and unbelievable stories; then this is for you! I learned so many new facts and have been able to use it to disprove a few posts on social media that I found along the way. Like the spy and the car, which was amalgamated with another real fact.

My ONLY gripe is that I wish that Aaron wouldn’t speak so staccato, but that’s a personal preference. I only deducted one star, as it’s preformed EXACTLY as the author wanted it.

Truly A Museum Case of Amazing Stories
