Desmond Simmons' life is at an impasse.

This book had me upset, angry, and stuck, for a few days. I don’t understand

I have really enjoyed this entire series! All of the characters in these tales made me really want to root for them, even in spite of their flaws and complicated stories. The narration was a real challenge; it didn’t seem as if either narrator could catch the tone or cadence of the characters, and sometimes the inflection of what they were saying got lost. Besides that though, I still enjoyed the book; I hope Rae gives us more stories from this world, because I ENJOYED!
