I've long been looking for a framework like this. Along with Cashvertising book, it's the one I resonate most!

As someone that has spent most of their sales career dialing for dollars and other old school methods, I have contemplated moving in another marketing direction. I am in a highly competitive space and my ideal client receives 50+ cold calls per day of people trying to sell them exactly what I am trying to sell them. So, by the time I get someone on the line that probably only answered by mistake anyway. They are so frustrated to learn that it is indeed another sales call. I feel I must almost mislead the first few seconds just to get them to allow me the next few seconds, and so on. It just feels a little sleezy.

I have been racking my brain, feeling like there has got to be a better way. So, at almost 60 years old, I have emersed myself in building a social presence. Knowing my ideal client spends a lot of time on various social platforms. I have begun a journey learning these programs almost from scratch with very little initial knowledge, and a whole lotta willingness to step way out of my comfort zone. LOL

I am learning how to create content on platforms that only my kids knew about, because I sure didn’t. As my knowledge is growing, I can now move around and navigate some of these platforms and even edit my own videos. But now what? What do I want/need to say, how do I say it? How can I become someone that my ideal client wants to hear from? How can I stand out as a “guide” to draw them to me?

Story Brand 2.0 was my answer. Within the first week I devoured this book a couple times taking notes like a mad man. I feel I now have a clear path to get me to that next level. I feel like my perception of a better way, does truly exist. I wish I had found this resource ten years ago. I would have an empire by now. I can’t wait to see how my journey unfolds!

I have struggled to even get out of bed some days, dreading the day that was in front of me. The thought of another day on the phones fighting to get those "next few seconds" trying to convince folks I was different than the last 49 callers (which I am, BTW ). But now I feel excited again. I have found a roadmap to take me to the next level and beyond.

FYI, I have listened to and read hundreds of books, and this is the first time I have sat down to give a review on one. I know I ramble but, this book has honestly moved me and made an impression. I can’t wait to wake up tomorrow morning!!!
