A father and his son, a country apart. Desperate times make for desperate people.

Buck and Garth try to retain their humanity as they fight for their lives. How many others can they help? Should they even try? No one knows what's going on except a handful of people and even they aren't sure what happened, but most importantly, how do they stop it?

The survivors are rushing to Colorado in an epic race. Time is working against them in more ways than one.

I really enjoyed the heck of this story's twist on the beginning, middle, and end of an apocalypse designed by a few elitist humans. The best part of this book is the people who meet along the way, different lives, different paths taken, but ultimately are destined to a future that nobody knows is coming. Loving families and incredible friendships along with evil selfish characters from throughout different timeliness. That's all I want to say because I do not want to be one of you-know-what's that spoil stories for others. I loved it! And hoping that a followup story comes soon!!

Twisted blue light apocalypse 💙

I loved the story. It started with characters far apart, on their unrelated and related quests, and cleverly brought them together in the end. I hope there’s a sequel; I won’t elaborate, because it would spoil the end. The writing is good, and the book as a whole is without flaws in plot, pacing and language. An old fashioned good read—and those are rare.

The characters were really great, Even a couple of the bad guys redeemed themselves in the end.

I love post apocalyptic stories. This one was definitely different than what I am used to. However, it held my interest enough to hang on throughout all four books. It was a little quirky, but, fun. Keep an open mind and enjoy the ride.

Different, but held my interest.

Narrator robotic at times. Took away from the experience. But not much.
Ending seemed rushed and honestly, I would prefer to read the series that should follow this more than this series itself.
Still worth the listen though.

Worth the listen, unique EotW scenario

Nothing, well it’s good, but it would annoy me when the chapters would switch characters they were talking about. It wasn’t a bad thing, because I just really wanted to know what was going to continue to happen.

Kept my attention the whole series
