This was a very unique retelling of the little mermaid that offered more characters and perspectives to love. I really enjoyed the different POVs and Sienna’s presence. My favorite piece of the story was learning of the underwater setting. The author did a beautiful job at painting that picture so I could totally envision the world that Ariel is forced to leave behind for friendship. This book definitely tugs at the heart and has a depth that goes far beyond the fluff of a singing crab and a single lovestruck mermaid. I cried, I got excited , and I was on the edge of my seat throughout my listening journey. "I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review."
