I really enjoyed this story, and Graham Wolfe is a wonderfully talented narrator. I also know the author and his family from church.

Albert is an exceptional storyteller. The pacing is smooth and engaging, and it holds the listener’s attention from start to finish. The vocabulary is child-friendly and easy to follow, making it a great choice for a family read (or listen). It’s also clear the author did thorough research on boxing—the terminology and details feel authentic without ever becoming overwhelming.

What I appreciated most is the heart of the message: being different isn’t a weakness, and everyone has a purpose. The story beautifully highlights the support of family and loved ones along the journey, even when the bigger picture isn’t immediately visible. That theme connects naturally to the gospel—God choosing us, shaping us, and calling us into a purpose far greater than we can imagine.
