I first met Dr. Houseman almost 40 years ago, he was my anatomy and physiology instructor at the Downey school of massage in Walterboro Maine. As he did in the classroom, Dr. Houseman is able to explain the concepts of the physiology of fight or flight in this book. In this book, he also explains strategies that we can use to lower the stresses in our lives. As we all will know, stress can be a real killer!
