Dr. Miranda Hayes never anticipated finding herself in a relationship with a woman, but her undeniable attraction to Lane Remington was too powerful to resist.

As she surrenders to this unexpected connection, Miranda is forced to confront new facets of her identity. Is this newfound attraction to women just a passing curiosity, or is it the start of something more profound? And as she peels back the layers of Lane's carefully constructed facade, what truths will she uncover, and how will they shape her choices?

Lane Remington has always lived by her own set of unbreakable rules—until Miranda Hayes shattered her iron-clad self-control. After nearly a year of longing, Lane finally has the woman she desires. But will she grow bored, as she has in all her past relationships? Or will the intense passion she feels for Miranda evolve into something deeper, something she's never allowed herself to experience before?

As their lives become increasingly intertwined, both women must navigate a labyrinth of emotions, desires, and fears. In a world where control is everything, what happens when they surrender to the unexpected and let fate take the lead?

I’m just sorry this series is over…or is it. I’m really enjoying this authors style and the two narrators.

The story was honestly really good. The spicy moments were chefs kiss. The only issue is the different accent for the characters depending on who was reading it. This would have work fine with just one person reading. But good good.

The story was great

I enjoyed listening about Miranda and Lane, and in this book the drama was bigger than in the first part. Narration was excellent,

Overall, the story is good, but we didn’t see or hear much of Blake which makes me sort of sad cause I know how much Blake loved Miranda and it makes me think Miranda doesn’t love Blake as much as Blake loves her, and its also odd because in the if it’s meant to be series of Blake we saw a lot of Miranda in every chapter talking about her and Blake‘s friendship, in addition I’m a little disappointed that Blake and lane never really got to talk. Since they were so similar in personality, relationships and family trauma. I thought they would’ve made really good friends and helped each other grow and develop in the story.

Story good but…
