Perhaps the best so far in the series?
I even ‘forgave’ the fact that most of the action takes place in Paris, not 3 Pines. Sensational storytelling and intricate plot making without too much horror. Have come to depend on the extended Gamache and Friends Family to reassure that all might still be well.

The best in a superb series! Exciting moving complex and set in Paris. I laughed out loud, was challenged by the mystery, felt deeply moved by the relationships and was wowed by Louise Penny’s mastery of the genre. I listened to the story (wonderful) but am about to go and buy a hard copy too to savor it from another perspective! I can’t recommend this highly enough. Prepare to be sleep deprived.

Brilliant, moving, can’t wait to read it again!

To tell the truth I have been saving this book for weeks since I downloaded it.Having read all the titles to date I must admit I have savoured them all .The stories are so rich in character and detail and never disappoint.
