This was an engaging and well-narrated story that definitely kept my interest. The heroine’s “job” added a unique twist—one that was a bit outside my comfort zone, but I have to admit, it made for an intriguing and unexpected layer to the plot. While it pushed the boundaries for me personally, it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. The budding romance at the heart of the story really pulled me in, and I’m eager to see how it unfolds in book two. With a few great twists and solid storytelling, this was a compelling listen that has me hooked on the series.
